A spot in Lisbon for anyone seeking something special

Clube de Jornalistas
R. das Trinas 129, 1200-857 Lisboa
Hidden on a quiet street in Lapa, Clube de Journalistas is a charming restaurant housed in a historic 18th-century townhouse with no flashy signage—finding it feels like uncovering a secret. Once a gathering spot for Lisbon’s journalists, it retains a refined yet welcoming vibe, making it more than just a restaurant. The menu blends Portuguese flavors with international flair, offering dishes like scallops with yuzu and duck breast with spiced pumpkin.
Once, we had a Good Vibes Day Out dinner at this place, and the experience was truly special. We were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine while waiting for everyone to arrive in the cozy reception area. As a group, we had a private room with a large square-shaped table, perfect for keeping the conversation flowing among everyone.
Its hidden location, intimate ambiance, and creative cuisine make Clube de Jornalistas a place for anyone seeking something special. It’s an excellent spot for a romantic date, a celebration, or even an impressive dinner with friends or business partners visiting Lisbon.
A hidden gem next to Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra

If you decide to spend your day discovering the castles of Sintra, I have a perfect place for lunch or dinner for you. It is a bit away from all the tourist routes but within walking distance from Quinta da Regaleira. Quinta dos Lobos is a boutique hotel housed in a renovated old farmhouse. The place already has some mystical vibes by just being in Sintra. It gets more intense when you get o know that there is a tunnel leading to Quinta Regaleira. This place lets your imagination run wild and feel the spirit of the past.
I discovered Quinta dos Lobos by chance while visiting the neighboring Casa do Fauno in search of a place to host our Halloween event. I was captivated by a garden area and a bunch of peacocks wandering around. It is perfect for relaxing lunchtime outdoors in the summer. The area inside is also nice and cozy with rustic charm and modern touches. The menu has some nice fish and meat options, and the house specialty skewers are definately worse trying.
I would say that the place can be the cherry on top of your sightseeing day in Sintra: away from the crowd, filled with history, mesmerizing views, and cozy vibes.
Join us for a Hike & Lunch in Malveira da Serra this Saturday, February 1st

The hike promises to be moderately challenging. We will do around 9,5 km which will take us approx. 3 hours to complete. To practice mindfulness and to connect better with the nature around we are going to do 30-60 min of silence practice during the hike and share our reflections afterward. After the hike, we will head to a local Portuguese restaurant for lunch.
🙌 Weekend trip to Geres: May 1-4

We are going to Geres for a longer weekend to hike, do a bit of kayaking & paddle boarding, taste local cuisine, and chill in the amazing house by the lake.
😉 About Good Vibes Day Out
It all started with the hike in Sintra back in February 2023 to meet people and make friends. Step by step, lunch by lunch, hike after hike it grew into a community of people who appreciate spending great time outdoors and value building long-lasting connections. There is a cozy WhatsApp group for those who attended the events. There we discuss ideas for future events and organize get-togethers outside of publicly announced events.
Our vibe is chill and laid-back. Good Vibes Day Out is about sharing the experience, exploring, enjoying great food, having deeper conversations, embracing diversity, and leaving room for spontaneity so that everyone can add their colors to the weekend and let things happen.
