Hike & Picnic in Porto Covo
What about a full day out in Alentejo... that might just turn into a weekend?
Join us for an amazing day out on Alentejo coast that might easily end up a full weekend.
The ingredients are our all-time favourites: great people, nature, delicious food, and good wine. But this time, the after-hike meal will be something truly special. No restaurant, no rushing back from the wild; we will have a picnic in nature, enjoying jaw-dropping views from Alentjo cliffs. Sounds like a dream? Let’s make it real
🥾 The hike

We’ll be hiking a section of the Fishermen’s Trail on the Rota Vicentina, following the cliffs along the ocean.
The hike will be moderately challenging. The exact distance will depend on the weather and the group’s pace, but overall you can expect around 3–4 hours of walking, finishing at our picnic spot. Elevation gain will be light, no more than 150–200 m.
🍷 The picnic
If you’ve joined Good Vibes Day Out before, you probably already know that food and wine are something we care deeply about. This time is no exception.
And no, you don’t need to prepare your own food.
And no, you don’t need to carry picnic supplies either.
We’ll take care of everything.
Expect a beautiful picnic with local, seasonal ingredients, good local wine, and a setting that does the rest: nature, fresh air, and some of the best views around.
We genuinely love bringing people together around the table, and this event is also a bit of an experiment, a test drive of something we’d love to do more of. For that reason, we’re not charging in advance for the picnic this time. Instead, you’ll be able to contribute afterwards based on how much you enjoyed the experience.
